Abstract art encompasses a wide range of approaches and techniques.   In this class we will look at how contemporary abstract artists find inspiration and what techniques they use to begin a painting.  Classes will include short demonstrations and discussions based on abstract art concepts and techniques, along with hands on experience painting in a variety of styles.  Lessons will be taught in steps so that you can learn and practice techniques while building confidence.  The goal of this class is to loosen up and further develop your own expressive painting skills in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
