Collage and Mixed Media (all levels)

Join us for an exciting, hands-on class that will help you expand your artistic skills and create beautiful works of art.  Mixed media art combines collage,  such as scrapbook or handmade papers, textured materials, assemblage, acrylic paints, and other mark-making tools, such as oil pastels and drawing materials.  Each week you will learn new techniques to build upon, and have the opportunity to use different acrylic and collage mediums.  Projects will include making your own painted papers, creating a mini, abstract art journal, and creating representational paintings that incorporate collage and other found objects as a focal point.
