Collage and Mixed Media: Painting With Papers. (all levels)

Join us for an exciting mixed media class that will help you expand your artistic skills while creating art based on pets and wildlife.  Your will have the opportunity to create your own painted papers, as well as integrate store bought items into your work.  Mixed media art combines collage, such as scrapbook or handmade papers, textured materials, assemblage, acrylic paints, and other mark-making tools, such as oil pastels and drawing materials.  Each week you will learn new techniques to build upon, and have the opportunity to use different acrylic and collage mediums.  Our first project will be a small sea turtle, on 9”x12” canvas board, and then you will have creative freedom to choose your own wildlife, or pet subject matter.
