Painting Faces with Acrylics: (Not for true acrylic beginners)

This acrylic class is designed to help students expand their skills in painting expressive and lively portraits.  This course will utilize carbon paper or the grid method to transfer portraits onto canvas so that we can focus on our brushwork and skin tone combinations.  Over the course of 6 weeks we will paint 3 portraits using different skin tone mixes.  Our first portrait will be based on using 3 values with smoothly blended brushwork.  Our second portrait will focus on utilizing more values as we match our mixes to the reference photo.  The third portrait will be a more colorful and expressive painting, getting you to think outside the box.
