Abstract art encompasses a broad spectrum of styles and employs various techniques. In this class, we will delve into the works of 4 renowned Masters and create our own paintings inspired by their unique approaches. The artists we will examine include:
Georgia O'Keeffe
Willem de Kooning
Wassily Kandinsky
Henri Matisse
Lessons will be structured in a steps, allowing you to learn and practice techniques while building your confidence. The objective of this class is to develop and enhance your abstract painting skills in a fun and enjoyable environment.
Supplies: 4 canvases 11x14 or larger (your choice); palette paper; a palette knife, small container of gel medium; Acrylics: a small acrylic paint set of 12 -24 colors (Liquitex Basics or similar student grade is fine)
